***Von San Juan del Sur nach Granada***
Jonathan berichtet uns heute von seiner Fahrt von San Juan del Sur am Pazifik Richtung Granada, der hübschen Kolonialstadt am Nicaraguasee mit Ihrer leuchtend gelben Kathedrale, die eine heimelige und persönliche Atmosphäre verbreitet. Der perfekte Ort um auch mit der lokalen Bevölkerung ins Gespräch zu kommen!

"From the Pacific coast, I get up early and took some last pictures from the Beach with the sunrise, when you get on the road to Granada you can find many street fruit markets where you may would like to stop to get some for the way and make a break somewhere, and enjoy them with a nice wiew of the landscape, is a dry and flat area so you can see the volcanos Concepción and Maderas again in case the weather was´t that good the days before.

Once when you approach the Granada City a Party of colorful old buildings,houses and churches invade the eye.
Granada is a rich historic village, where it is evident the mix of cultures from Europe, North America and the indians that are part of the past from Granada City.



Here it is posible to visit the museum of indeans statues found them in a Island Zapatera within the age of between 800 and 1200 AC , or outside the city you can hike up the Masaya Volcano, visit Las Isletas (small Islands) on a boat at the lake Nicaragua and watch wildlife and the local people fishing in a very rustic way the well known fish cause its deliciuos meet (El Guapote). Back in the city you can take a city tour with the locals getting on a carriage pulling by horses or by walking around the ruins,churches,historicals places and getting into a interesting journey of stories conecting you with elements of the past and the actually time of the locals.


At night there are plenty of places where you can, enjoy dinner and enjoy some drinks while your memories of every day give you the enthusiasm to know more about this people."
